About Me
I’ve been around business and marketing my entire life. My father ran a successful small business training labrador retrievers and observing how he approached the daily grind throughout my younger years taught me a lot about what it took to be a great businessman.
At his core, my dad is a fantastic grass-roots marketer and natural salesman. Being able to observe these qualities in action has only strengthened my own skillset as I’ve transitioned into the ever-emerging digital marketing and media space beginning with my time as a student at UMD, and moving forward in to the marketing and advertising industry at several high profile agencies in the Twin Cities. While at UMD, I held several internships and practical marketing positions that allowed me to develop marketing skills in ways no classroom could. I also devoted my time to the UMD Men’s basketball team as a volunteer manager for four years, following my earliest passion for the game of basketball.
My first experience post-grad with digital media came at Periscope, one of the top full service, indie agencies in the country. On a small, nimble team, I was forced to grow up quickly. Eventually leading the performance media strategy and hands-on-keyboard execution for a wide array of clients, managing just over $5M annually in performance media budget. This position taught me invaluable lessons about everything from tactical platform execution within Google Ads, Facebook Ads and several DSP’s, to media strategy and managing client relationships.
For the past 6 years, I’ve been growing and honing these same skills at Collective Measures, formerly Nina Hale, a leading performance media agency in Minneapolis where I lead strategy and execution for many of our eCommerce and B2C lead generation clients, managing over $20M in ad spend in 2023 alone. Nothing beats the satisfaction of driving bottom line revenue for my clients, knowing they feel the impact of each and every lever we pull in the ad platforms. I’ve had the pleasure of working with eCommerce clients of all shapes and sizes over the last 6 years, totaling over $200M in revenue from paid media campaigns for my clients in 2023.
In my free time, I freelance as a Google Ads strategist and enjoy sports, spending time with my wife, and learning how to be a newly minted girl dad.
